The Arcadia Theatre was Built in 1921
The weekend at Kerouac Fest ’05 in Windber, PA was so
rich we need “three” blog entries to cover it. First
was our presentation at the Arcadia Theatre in Friday
night that served as the kick off for our Beat Museum
on Wheels Tour, 2005. It’s a beautiful old theatre
that seats 700 and we had a respectable crowd of over
a hundred in the tiny town of Windber. John and I
were very satisfied with the results and the folks who
attended seemed pleased as well.
